Document Imaging Client Services Specialist

We are currently seeking a Document Imaging Client Services Specialist to add to our team in the Madison area. This position plays a crucial role in understanding our clients’ complete print environments and collaborating with the sales team to uncover additional areas of opportunity for support and services. This is an ideal role for an individual who wants to use their technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to support and advance the technology of multiple business clients.


  • Attend and participate in client meetings with sales staff to provide pre-sales support in assessing client needs, researching and designing solutions, and generating and presenting proposals.
  • Provide post-sales support by installing and supporting implemented technology and training end-users.
  • Collaborate with clients’ IT personnel to complete pre-installation surveys, ensuring the environment is prepared for installation.
  • Document and maintain accurate configuration data for installed systems.
  • Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting for a variety of issues, including but not limited to network integration, software applications, and hardware functionality.
  • Serve as a primary backup and Tier 2 support for the helpdesk technician, responding to client support calls as needed and required.
  • Attend post-sales review meetings with sales team to uncover additional areas of opportunity, including upgrades and improvements.
  • Provide internal training and IT support as necessary and required.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technology support role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Document Imaging or Managed Print Services.
  • Strong customer service and consulting skills required; previous sales experience a plus.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable speaking with and presenting to all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent project management skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of all or most of the following:
  • Enterprise Document Imaging Technologies
  • Internet Protocol (IP) addressing
  • Microsoft Desktop and Network Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Server Applications
  • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Server Message Block/ Common Internet File System (SMB/CIFS)
  • Command line troubleshooting tools
  • Packet capturing tools
