IT Services - Client Services

Role: The Client Services employee is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to the sales department for Document Imaging related technologies and software applications. They are also responsible for performing the installation and training of integrated MFP’s, related technologies and software applications as well as post installation administration and technical support.


  • Provide Pre and Post Sales technical support to sales staff including attendance of client meetings for:
    • Any applicable Document Imaging related hardware or software including
      • MFPs, scanners, and fax machines
      • PaperCut MF
      • InfoDynamics Intact
      • Fax Core
      • FleetView
    • Telephone Systems sales
    • Managed IT Services sales
  • Listen, learn, and consult on Document Imaging, Telecommunications, or IT related changes that may benefit the client. Providing assistance to the sales staff with needs assessment, solution design, proposal generation and presentation.
  • Assist in installations of connected MFP’s, related hardware and software
  • Perform remote and onsite service calls for Document Imaging network integration issues and related software application troubleshooting and administration
  • Perform installations and support for Telecommunication systems
  • Perform network discoveries for Managed IT Clients
  • Provide training to clients and Rhyme on applicable products or technologies
  • Maintain accurate configuration data for installed systems


Desirable traits include experience and working knowledge of enterprise document imaging technologies including: business processes and workflow mapping, communication/network infrastructure, desktop and server operating systems and network and database applications. Must embrace continuing education to reach and maintain high levels of personal and professional success. Proficiency in basic math, written & oral communications and Microsoft Office are required. Industry certifications such as CDIA+ are desirable.

    • Internet Protocol (IP) addressing
    • Microsoft Desktop and Network Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Server Applications
    • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
    • Domain Name System (DNS)
    • Server Message Block/ Common Internet File System (SMB/CIFS)
    • Command line troubleshooting tools
    • Packet capturing tools
