IT Sales Executive

We seek a sales representative to help us grow our managed IT services so our clients can focus on their business, not the technology that runs it.

As an IT Sales Executive you’ll:

  • Build your sales funnel to drive your compensation! Work with our office technology Account Executives to identify customer opportunities within existing accounts as well as use your own prospecting skills to cold call and create leads within the small/medium business space.
  • Make a difference in the local business community! Meet with owners and leaders of local small/medium to propose how they can have access to a professional IT staff without adding employees!
  • Use your consultative selling skills to uncover additional technology needs. Rhyme has a full product line to support business needs and grow your sales revenue and commissions.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to create that critical link between our clients’ needs and our technology stack.
  • Actively participate in a culture and team environment that values excellence, integrity, growth and compassion.
  • Have direct access to local leadership and talented co-workers to help you close sales and take care of clients.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • the ability to look for new clients and new business within existing client accounts
  • a natural affinity for technology and the ability to sell value by helping clients envision how technology can save them money, increase their productivity or support their infrastructure
  • bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years b2b sales experience; managed network services (MNS) sales experience preferred
  • strong business acumen coupled with a working knowledge of common SMB business/technology needs and a history of using well thought out questions and answers to address those needs
  • a proven track record of using a consultative sales approach to close deals
  • CompTIA IT for Sales, Microsoft Office Specialist Certification or additional manufacturer sales certifications could prove helpful but are not required
